Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is "voluntarily" recalling approximately 20,000 Bosch Hammer Drills due to a faulty grounding system and trigger that could potentially lead to "ground wire abrasion" and "ground connector failure," resulting in a shock hazard. In addition, the trigger could become stuck in the "on" position. The drills recalled are model numbers HD19-2, HD19-2D, HD19-2L and HD21-2, and were sold from September 2009 through August 2010 in retail stores. Although no injuries or incidents have been reported, the company and the Consumer Product Safety Commission are advising consumers to discontinue use of the drills immediately and to return them to Robert Bosch Tool Corp. for repair.

Continued use of the drills or power tools could result in injury. This is a potential safety defect.
