Mercedes-Benz has recalled 85,078 vehicles due to power steering problems. The recalls – for 2010 and 2011 C-Class and E-Class sedans and 2010 E-Class coupe and cabriolet cars – are for potential power steering fluid leaks. The leaks can cause drivers to have less control over their vehicles and force them to exert more effort in steering.
Consumers are advised to bring their cars to a nearby dealer where the necessary inspections and repairs will be made.
This is a potential safety defect.
